Update Re; Bonnie Forsell

Hi Gayle...Thanks for your reply. Although Bonnie does not have any use of her left leg or arm, she has progressed very well in all other areas. She looks really good and mentally she is doing very well. In fact she is doing so well that the Toronto rehab unit has indicated that she has progressed well beyond where they would normally expect for their patients to be. Therefore, Bonnie will not be going to T.O. We will in the near future be looking for residence where she can receive assisted care and we can live together. Considering the severe nature of Bonnie's stroke, she is doing remarkably well and life will be good.

                                                                                           Thanks for everything, Gerry

EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE

The usual reminder that applications for Emergency Assistance are available from the Provincial Office. The assistance required may not  always  be financial: sometimes members just don't know where to turn for  assistance and may not feel comfortable in approaching a local contact.

TRAVEL

With respect to travel, MERIT travel is the agency with which we are teamed to provide service.  Watch for their programs as advertised in the upcoming issues of Renaissance.  Or go to www.rtotravel.ca or phone 1.877.872.3826  Travel agents have been assigned to deal specifically with  requests from RTO/ERO members.
