Merit Travel
In the fall of 2006, Merit Travel was engaged to provide a comprehensive travel program for members. Last year, the Provincial Executive renewed the agreement between RTO/ERO and Merit Travel for a one-year period. The agreement will be discussed again next spring, pending a program review by Simon Leibovitz, Director of Administrative and Member Services, and the Member Services Committee.
From the provincial perspective, the relationship between RTO/ERO and Merit Travel has been positive and the services provided have been well-received. The concerns or problems raised by members that have been brought to the attention of Provincial Office staff have been quickly addressed by the travel agency.
